1. Who we are

Covercopia Leads LLC (“Covercopia”, “we”, “us”) operates covercopia.com. We are a lead generation and marketing company. We are not an insurance company, insurer, carrier, or licensed insurance producer. We do not sell, quote, bind, or issue insurance policies and we make no coverage or pricing decisions. Our service connects business owners with Covercopia and our partners — licensed insurance agencies, insurers, and marketing partners.

2. Information we collect

When you submit a quote request, we collect the information you provide, such as:

• Coverage types you are shopping for and your business ZIP code
• Industry, employee count, revenue band, and optional business name
• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Consent records: the consent text as displayed, the page URL, a timestamp, your IP address, and your browser user agent

We also collect limited technical data automatically, including device and browser information, referring URL, marketing campaign identifiers, and general location inferred from IP address. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank details, or payment card information anywhere on this site.

3. How we use information

• To validate your submission and determine which partners can serve your request
• To share your quote request with Covercopia and our partners
• To contact you about your request and related insurance offers — by email, phone, or text message — either directly or on behalf of a partner, including through automated follow-up systems
• To maintain consent, suppression, and do-not-contact records
• To detect fraud and duplicate or invalid submissions
• To measure marketing performance and improve the site

4. How we share information — this is our business model

We share the information in your quote request with Covercopia and our partners — licensed insurance agencies, insurers, and marketing partners — and those partners pay us a fee for the referral. Depending on applicable state law, this transfer may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. By submitting the form, you direct us to make that transfer so that we and our partners can contact you with quotes. If a partner is unable to serve your request, we may share it with another partner instead.

We also share information with:

• Service providers who host our site, deliver email and text messages, verify phone numbers, and store consent records — under contract and only for those purposes
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

5. Calls, texts, and your consent

When you check the consent box and submit the form, you provide express written consent for Covercopia and our partners to contact you at the number and email you supplied, including through automatic telephone dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, SMS, and automated follow-up systems, and for Covercopia to contact you on a partner's behalf. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of texts, tell any caller to place you on their do-not-call list, or email privacy@covercopia.com. Calls may be recorded or monitored by us or our partners for quality and training purposes.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember form progress, measure traffic, and attribute marketing campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not function correctly if you do. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required as an opt-out of sale or sharing.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold and how we use and share it

Note that once a submission has been transferred to a partner, that partner controls the copy it holds under its own privacy policy — we will pass your request along, but you may also need to contact them directly.

8. Retention and security

We retain quote requests and consent records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet recordkeeping obligations — generally up to five years for consent artifacts — then delete or de-identify them. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor review to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The site is intended for business owners aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
